Universal's Endless Summer Resort - Surfside Inn and Suites

Updated: Jul 10, 2023

This was our first time staying on Universal property and it's safe to say this will not be our last! This is considered one of their value resorts, so you really get a great deal for everything it offers.

We rode the red eye in and took our chances for an early check in. We arrived at the resort around 8 am and they didn't have anything open yet so we were put on a list for when a room would become available. While we waited, we walked around the hotel and took photos then around 9 am they text us saying our room was ready! This isn't always a guarantee, but I would definitely try if you got in early! The team member was so kind and accommodating for us.

If by chance they don't have a room available, you can leave your luggage in their luggage hold and still enjoy the hotel and pool! They also have a free shuttle to the parks so you don't have to deal with parking.

This hotel is SO much fun! It really lives up to its "Endless Summer" name with the aesthetic and vibe.

There's a Starbucks in the lobby which was perfect for us. Rob would run down and grab coffee before we headed to the parks. Saved us time from waiting in lines inside the parks or City Walk.

If you purchased your tickets before your trip, you can get them printed at their Ticket Kiosk located in the lobby! This was super convenient, so we didn't have to wait in the will-call lines before starting our day at the park. They can print theme park tickets, Express and event tickets like Halloween Horror Nights.

We stayed in the two bedroom suite for some extra amenities. I was honestly so impressed with how quaint and practical it was! First off, the decor is darling, and they even have a little kitchenette with a dining area for bigger parties and families.

There's a giftshop full of Universal Studios gear and extra things like swimsuits, sunblock, etc. in case you forgot! I picked up an E.T. lanyard for my tickets :D

You can find current event merch there as well. This is from HHN 30

Before we headed to Volcano Bay, we checked out the hotel pool. It opens at 9 am, offers lots of seating, towels and it's in the shape of a surfboard!

Be sure to grab a drink from the Sand Bar while you're relaxing poolside! "The Blast" was one of our favorites!

Another great amenity is the Beach Break Café also located in the lobby. They offer all types of meals and treats. We got the Hamburger and kids chicken tenders and literally devoured them in minutes, they were so good!

They open at 7am and close an hour after the parks. They also stay open late for event nights. Ex: Halloween Horror nights ends at 1am or 2 am, you can grab a late-night bite until 2 or 3 am! Makes it easy do you don't have to leave the hotel.

Our time at The Endless Summer Resort was 10/10 amazing! We want to stay at the Dockside hotel next which is the sister hotel of Surfside and located right across the street. You can actually use your room key to access their amenities as well!
