I actually saw this place on TikTok and decided to check it out! This place is seriously cool! It's about 45 minutes from Phoenix in Apache Junction and free to get in.
Goldfield is a real ghost town from the 1890's. During your visit , you can pan for gold, take a tour in the Mammoth Gold Mine and even ride Arizona’s only narrow gauge train. Just walking around I felt like I was in a different time!
Every building has a historic past you can read about and walk through. There is no cost to enter the town but some of the museums and exhibits cost $4-$10. Check out the Goldfield Ghost Town site to see all the activities!
Guided tours by "floozy girls" are available at Lu Lu's Bordello house. You can take photos from the second level and see the all of Main St!
There are lots of cute touristy shops and a real saloon you can grab a drink at!
Gun shows happen every hour in the middle of Main St. Like a real western movie!
