Finding photogenic areas in new places.

You all know I love to travel and I'm all about those fun photo settings so I'm going to tell you how I find them, even in places I've never been!

When I know I'm visiting a place I've never been to, Google and Pinterest are my best friend. I spend hours online looking for the settings I want. I know, I'm crazy. I'm the type of person that likes to have a plan and itinerary. I research because I don't know when or if I will ever visit that place again so I like to get all my plans ready in motion.

I make a list of places I want photos in and fit them in my schedule. My fave place is actually Los Angeles because you can spend a full day finding adorable areas for photos and it's really fun!

Now, I'm not the one who finds these places first. I definitely do my reading, searching and watching to find some of these specific areas. But some places or walls I find are ones I stumble upon while I'm on vacation. Like these:

Here are some places I Googled and added to my vacation schedule:

I type things into Pinterest and Google like "walls in SoCal", "fun photos in Arizona" and you can really find a ton of places that people have already posted about. I also have an eye for settings and will randomly just throw my camera at Rob to take my pic haha!

I have found so many darling places on the internet. Sometimes I'll even type in the address and see how far out of the way it is from our destination and to see if it's even still there! Especially with walls, sometimes the art is temporary . But overall, I always find what I'm looking for!

Here are some examples of planned and unplanned photos that I love! A lot of the unplanned ones are just from exploring new cities and coming across them. Every city has it's own art and charm and I'm just drawn to it!

Tag me on Instagram (@golden_aimeee) so I can see what fun places you found while on vacation!

xoxo, Aimee
